With so many competing demands on the marine and estuarine
environment, it's important to be clear about the impact of
human activities, alongside naturally occurring events and changes.
By providing scientifically robust evidence of these impacts we are
able to increase our knowledge and effectively support policy,
marine planning and licensing decision-makers.
